As the incoming President of the Southern California American Marketing
Association, I am delighted to invite you to our annual SoCalAMA | AGENDA,
to be held this year at the Proud Bird Restaurant near LAX. This is our ANNUAL
MEETING, held specifically to provide a forum for discussing the role that
SoCalAMA plays in the marketing community, and to offer an opportunity for
members to get to know the directors and volunteers that play such a vital role
in keeping our chapter strong. This year we are also participating in a
historical revision vote of our chapter by-laws, which will be emailed to
members for review shortly.
At SoCalAMA | AGENDA, you will have the opportunity to:
Learn about SoCalAMA’s history,
and our vision for the future.
Discover our important work in
serving the community, by providing education and training to marketing
professionals, and by servicing the marketing needs of regional
non-profits.
Interact with the board members
and volunteers of SoCalAMA.
Discuss and vote on our chapter
revised bylaws.
This
meeting is strongly recommended for members, as this meeting offers members a
unique opportunity to learn about how to get involved in the chapter and
volunteer in our various community outreach initiatives. To that end, SoCalAMA
is deeply discounting the price of registration for this meeting for MEMBERS to
encourage a strong member participation. Prospective members may also find the
meeting an interesting way to learn more about our chapter.
The meeting will start at 6:00PM with registration and networking,
a complete dinner and a 45 minute overview and discussion of SoCalAMA,
followed by a networking reception.
